This week our Sports Lawyer David Seligman spoke to Emma Barnett of BBC radio 5 Live, discussing football transfers and third part ownership.
David and Emma were joined in the debate by former Crystal Palace F.C. Chairman Simon Jordan.
David opened the debate explaining how a football transfer is instigated. He went further explaining that the ‘buying club’ would then begin negotiations with selling club.
Simon was then brought into the debate and made a number of key points regarding third party ownership that David agreed with.
